Killip Elementary School cancels class this week; will move to remote Monday

Killip Elementary School officials say there will be no school for Killip students on Thursday and Friday. Killip team members will use these days to respond to the significant flood damage and prepare plans for temporary remote instruction. The FACTS before and after school program is also canceled until further notice. Remote instruction will be provided for students beginning Monday, until students and staff can be placed in an in-person learning environment. Students will use their iPads to participate in remote learning. If your child is in need of an iPad or internet access, please contact the Killip front office. There will be a Safe Learning Center site available from 8-am to 3:10-pm at Coconino High School. Killip students will be located in the CHS Auditorium and should enter the school through the north entrance. Killip staff will be reassigned to the SLC to supervise students. Breakfast and lunch will be also provided for students located at the SLC. Grab and Go breakfasts and lunches for Killip students will be available for pick up outside of the school from 10-am to 12:30-pm Thursday and Friday. Contact the school for more information.
