DPS is asking motorists to slow down on wet roads and when driving through storms. Tuesday evening, a tractor-trailer fishtailed on northbound I-17 near Rimrock, spilling its load of metal beams across both lanes of the interstate. Officials say this forced the closure of the interstate until the material could be picked up. Troopers were able to reopen one lane to traffic, but it took several hours to do so. The interstate was completely reopened by 4-am this morning.
