Search continues for Faith Moore of Cottonwood

The search for 16-year old Faith Moore of Cottonwood continues. YCSO officials say each searcher has a GPS tracking device that allows YCSO to see exactly where that person has been so they can map, plan and execute next steps. Both maps can be found with this story on our news page at myradioplace.com. Today, in addition to the agencies already on scene, Peoria and Prescott Fire Departments have Technical Rescue Units on the Verde River and Border Patrol has K9 Trackers along the wash. Moore was swept away by flood waters on Saturday night.

  1. There is an organization known as AMPWDA, American Mantrailing, Police & Work Dog Association located in the Midwest that came to Prescott to test and certify a blood hound named Loki. Loki is one of the best trailing dog they have ever evaluated. Loki has not been deployed on the search.

    Why not?

Why not use all the tools at your disposal. YCSO has the authority to bring Loki on scene.
