The Justice Department seized Backpage.com, the Internet’s leading forum for prostitution ads and ads depicting the prostitution of children. Additionally, seven individuals have been charged in a 93-count federal indictment with the crimes that include conspiracy to facilitate prostitution and money laundering. Five of the defendants are from Arizona the other two are from Texas.
