Three killed in Friday night crash north of Payson on Highway-87

DPS released further information on a 4-vehicle crash that killed 3-people Friday night. Officials say the crash occurred 6-miles northwest of Payson on Highway-87. A pickup driven by a 49-year old Scottsdale man crossed the centerline and collided with three other vehicles. His passenger, 54-year old Georgia Burnside of Payson was pronounced dead at an area hospital. The driver of a second pickup, 38-year old Latissia Morris of San Tan Valley also died at an area hospital; her 15-year old son was ejected from the truck and pronounced dead on scene. Occupants in the other 2-vehicles were uninjured. DPS continues the investigation; impairment has not been ruled out.
