A popular recreation site on the Coconino National Forest will be opening early this year due to the lack of winter. Forest officials say C.C. CRAGIN Reservoir will open on April 8-th, which is 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Since the forest roads opened last week, drivers on Forest Road 751 will find a locked gate about 2-miles north of the reservoir. The public is asked to observe all locked gates and signs in the forest.
