Excessive Heat Warning below 5,000 feet Friday through Monday

The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning from Friday through Monday for elevations below 5,000-feet. Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 112-degrees are expected below 5,000-feet. This includes areas of Yavapai County, including the cities of Bagdad, Black Canyon City, Camp Verde, Cottonwood and Sedona. Extreme heat will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
