Thursday afternoon, Central Arizona Fire responded to a structure fire in the 10,400 block of Kachina Place in Dewey-Humboldt. Fire Marshal Rick Chase says crews found two out buildings on fire, threatening two nearby vehicles. Strong winds began pushing the fire into brush, threatening nearby homes. He says crews were able to contain the fire; stopping it from reaching additional structures. Chase says one resident suffered minor burns and was treated on scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
