Prescott Fire responded to the 600 block of South Granite Street regarding a structure fire this morning. Spokesman Jeff Jones says crews arrived and found a substantial amount of smoke but could not locate the fire due to the 911 caller giving the wrong address. He says shortly after, the fire vented through the roof of a commercial structure that housed a steel fabrication business. Jones says crews were able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
