PANT arrests fentanyl dealer in Cottonwood

Last week, PANT detectives arrested 44-year old Jerry Allen in Cottonwood for his involvement in the ongoing sales of fentanyl. YCSO spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says Allen was stopped for a moving violation by Cottonwood Police in and PANT detectives were notified.  Allen was arrested based on the probable cause obtained after confirming his participation in the sale of fentanyl. He denied possession of any drugs on his person or in his vehicle. D’Evelyn says once confronted with evidence, Allen admitted to personal use over the past few months and occasional sales of the pills that he purchased in Phoenix. He says during a pre-body scanner screening at the jail, Allen was found to have 73-pills hidden inside his body.
