Yavapai Silent Witness Director Chris Wilson says fugitive Seth Backus was arrested Wednesday morning. Backus was arrested during an operation in Glendale by members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Backus was arrested in the late morning hours of June 12-th in the area of 61-st Avenue and Olive in Glendale and was taken into custody without incident. Backus will now not only face the repercussions of his probation violation warrant, but several other charges he has accumulated while he was on the run. The 30-year old is also wanted on four additional warrants out of Yavapai County. Charges include burglary, felony theft and misconduct involving weapons for an incident that occurred in Cottonwood last September and an aggravated assault charge from last December for injuring a Yavapai County Detention Sgt.
