Riverfront Park re-opened.

Wednesday, Cottonwood Public Works crews completed cleanup efforts at Riverfront Park and reopened it to the public. Residents should be aware that grass areas were inundated with flood waters from the Verde River and now precipitation from the current winter storm will keep them muddy. The park was covered in flood waters last week when a warm storm dumped rain on snow in the higher elevations causing the Verde River, Oak Creek and Beaver Creek to spill over their banks.
