Kaibab National Forest fire managers are taking advantage of the wet weather to do some machine pile burning. Spokesman Bob Blasi says crews are burning about 5-miles south of Williams in the Shiner Timber Sale area. The piles are spread out over a 1,000 acre area. The burning will take several days to complete.
