In November, Prescott Valley Police raised over $700 to fight cancer in a “No Shave November” event, which also incorporated a mustache growing contest in which the winner was Lead Police Officer Scott Rudolph. The next fund-raiser which is now underway is the Relay for Life Campaign for the American Cancer Society. The night of the relay is May 31, 2019, and the police department has created a Relay for Life 2019 Coin which is available for the public to purchase for $10.00. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Spokesman Jerry Ferguson says the coins are available at the Prescott Valley Police Department.
