The second suspect in a shooting incident with DPS in Flagstaff died from his injuries. Thursday night 20-year old Marcus Gishal and 20-year old Preston Oszust fled from a DPS Trooper during a traffic stop. The Flagstaff men eventually abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot. A 911 caller spotted the suspects and troopers moved in. It was reported that Gishal shot at troopers, striking one in the hand. Several troopers returned fire, killing Gishal and critically wounding Oszust. It was reported over the weekend that Oszust succumbed to his injuries. The injured trooper was treated and released from FMC. The incident remains under investigation.
