Winter Weather Advisory remains in place until 5am Wednesday morning

A Winter Weather Advisory Remains in place above 7000 feet until 5-am Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service in Bellemont says the snow level will continue to remain high, with most of the snow falling above 7,000 to 7,500-feet. Snow levels may lower briefly in heavier showers. Snow accumulations of a trace to about 4-inches around 7000 feet, 4-to-8-inches above 7500 feet and 8-to-12-inches above 8000 feet. The western Mogollon Rim will receive the most snow. A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. A mixture of snow and rain has been falling overnight, making roads slick in some locations. Motorists are reminded to slow down and give themselves extra time to reach their destination today.
