Pedestrian struck by a train in Flagstaff, service dog missing.

Flagstaff police say Thursday morning a pedestrian was struck by a train behind the Railroad Springs neighborhood. Officials say the pedestrian was seriously injured and transported to FMC in critical condition. They say the victim’s service dog was with him at the time and may have been injured as well. Police and animal control officers have searched the area but have been unable to locate the German Shepard mix named Barrett. Officials are asking anyone who sees the dog to call the Flagstaff Police Department. Officials say they want to get Barrett treated and reconnect him with his family. A picture of Barrett is posted on our website, myradioplace.com, on our news page.
