9/11 The National Interagency Fire Center says firefighters responded to 74-new wildfires Thursday across the country. This included 2 new large fires. So far this year, there have been 54,136-fires reported nationwide with more than 8.4-million acres burned. Nearly 13,000-firefighters are currently working to contain 58-large fires nationwide.
