1/20 Thursday night, YCSO, Search and Rescue and DPS Ranger responded to a call of 2-hikers, a man in his 70-s and a woman in her 50-s, that had become lost while hiking off of Granite Mountain near Prescott. Officials say due to the darkness and some snowfall, it was decided DPS Ranger would fly to the lost hikers and hoist them to safety. Other than being cold, the hikers were rescued safely.
