1/20 Fire managers plan to continue prescribed fire operations on the Lakeside Ranger District of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. Officials hope to begin the burn Wednesday if the weather allows. If started, the burn would last through February 7-th. The 973-acre “Bear” burn, 3-miles southwest of Linden, was previously scheduled for the week of December 16-th, but was postponed due to the Horton Fire, which broke out on December 14-th.
