As we embark on a new year, we, the newly elected Council, are excited to
begin our service to you. We understand that the past year may have been
challenging for our community, with differing perspectives and strong emotions.
However, we believe that this year holds the promise of a fresh start. We have
recently held a Council retreat to discuss our shared goals and to develop a
framework for collaboration and unity. We recognize that trust and mutual
support are essential for a thriving community.
As your elected leaders, we deeply care about this community and its residents.
Our commitment is to serve the best interests of Prescott Valley, and we
understand that doing so requires not only effective decision-making but also
transparency, collaboration, and most importantly, trust.
By working together, we can overcome our differences and create a stronger,
more vibrant community. We will strive to keep you informed about our
decisions and the reasoning behind them. We will actively seek to understand
your concerns and work together to find solutions that benefit all.
To that end, we are committed to engaging with you in new ways—listening to
your concerns, learning from your experiences, and working collaboratively
toward solutions that improve Prescott Valley for everyone. We will be exploring
new channels for communication, holding more community forums, and
ensuring that your voices are heard in a way that shapes the decisions we make
going forward.
