1/9 The Gila County Sheriff’s Office lowered the evacuation status of Tonto Creek Estates, Tonto Rim Christian Camp, Tonto Fish Hatchery and Zane Gray Cabins to “READY” from “SET”, due to the Horton Fire. Hunter Creek, RC Scout Camp and Kohl’s Ranch remain on “SET” status. As of last night, the human caused fire has burned over 8,300-acres and is 23% contained.
