1/3 Law enforcement agencies in the state made 142-DUI arrests New Year’s Eve; that’s one more than last year for the same time period. The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety says officers also made contact with 208 designated drivers. Of the DUI arrests, 32 were for DUI drugs and 9 were for DUI under 21-years of age. They also issued 64 criminal speed citations and 70 seat belt citations.
