1/2 Prescott Valley Police responded to a fatal crash New Year’s Eve on Highway-69, near Fain Road. Officials say the crash involved a 3-wheeled motorcycle that rear-ended another vehicle, causing the trike to flip. Witnesses told officers that the driver of the trike had been lane splitting and traveling in the median when the driver returned to the traffic lane and collided with the other vehicle. Other motorists and emergency responders tried to revive the driver, but all efforts failed and the driver was pronounced dead on scene. The driver’s name has not been released.
