12/20 The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors and Public Works have scheduled a Black Canyon City community cleanup with free dumping of certain items at the Black Canyon City Transfer Station. The cleanup will be open at no charge on February 26-th, 28-th, March 1-st, 5-th, 7-th and 8-th, from 8-to-4 each day.
Accepted items include household appliances, bagged household trash, automotive batteries, tires, furniture, and yard trimmings. Officials hope residents will use this event to create defensible space on and around their properties.
