12/19 The Coconino County Commission on Trial Court Appointments is taking public input on 4-candidates for a vacancy on the Coconino County Superior Court created by the retirement of Honorable Cathleen Brown Nichols. The candidates are Charles W. Doughty, Brent D. Harris, Neil E. Sherman and Marianne E. Sullivan. The Commission will meet on January 9-th to review the candidates and then forward at least 3-names to Governor Katie Hobbs for consideration of appointment. Candidate applications can be viewed online at the Commission’s website, azcourts.gov/jnc. Members of the public may address the Commission on Jan. 9. Written comments may also be submitted via email to [email protected] or mailed to 1501 W. Washington, Suite 221, Phoenix, AZ 85007. It is not necessary to submit multiple copies of written comments–email is preferred. Comments must be received no later than Jan. 6 to be considered. Anonymous comments cannot be considered.
