The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) is currently accepting applications for the position of Firefighter Recruit. Applications will be open until 5:00 p.m. on December 30, 2024.
CAFMA provides emergency services and all hazards response for 369 square miles of Yavapai County, Arizona, including the towns of Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, DeweyHumboldt, areas of Paulden, and outlying areas of Prescott.
Qualifications
To apply, candidates must hold the following certifications:
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification (Arizona or National Registry – NREMT)
- CPR Certification
- Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)
