12/6 AAA Arizona says the national average gas price has nearly dropped to $3 a gallon, the first time since May of 2021. The Arizona statewide average is $3.18 a gallon, 24-cents lower than this time last year. The national average for a gallon of gas has been less than a dime away from $3 for over a month, meanwhile, today’s national average for a kilowatt of electricity at a public EV charging station remained at 34-cents.
