11/13 YCSO saved the life of a man that fled from them during a traffic stop last Thursday night. Officials say the handcuffed suspect, who was found to be armed with a gun, fled from a deputy. The suspect jumped a fence, landing on his face, and then fled into a field. Cottonwood Police arrived with a drone and located the suspect, unresponsive, about 300-yards from the traffic stop. The man was given 8-doses of Narcan to keep him alive while being transported to an area hospital. Once cleared, he was jailed on felony charges as well as an outstanding warrant. His name was not released.
