11/13 The Yavapai County Superior Court is mourning the loss of retired Judge Howard Hinson, Jr. Judge Hinson moved to Prescott with his family in 1949. He worked in the Prescott area as a local attorney and Deputy County Attorney. In 2004, Governor Janet Napolitano appointed Hinson to Division-4 of the Yavapai County Superior Court; he resigned in September, 2009. During his terms, he presided over the drug court program and participated in mock trial events with local high schools.
