10/30 Prescott National Forst fire managers plan to conduct prescribed burning in the Prescott Basin, south of Prescott. Crews hope to begin the 680-acre burn Friday and have it finished by early next week. The burn area is west of Goldwater Lake and all trails in the Bean Peaks area will be closed for the duration of the burn. Smoke impacts are expected to be light in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and the surrounding area communities.
