10/24 Last weekend, DPS Troopers stopped 3-wrong-way drivers within a three-hour period. Officials say two of the suspect drivers were arrested on charges of DUI and the 3-rd was not impaired. Troopers were able to stop all 3-drivers before they could injure anyone. Impairment continues to be a major contributing factor in wrong-way driving incidents throughout the state. Before you go out, take a few minutes to download a rideshare app, designate a sober driver or make other plans to ensure you have a safe and sober ride home. Law Enforcement agencies continue their efforts to locate and remove impaired drivers from our roads.
