10/15 DPS says a woman involved in a wrong-way crash in August of 2022, that resulted in the death of her child and the injury of several other people, has been sentenced to 22-years in prison. 32-year-old Andrea Crespin was DUI and traveling the wrong way on I-10 in Vail when she struck another vehicle. Her 2-year-old daughter was sitting unrestrained in the front seat and was killed in the crash. Blood tests revealed Crespin’s blood alcohol concentration was more than 3-times the legal limit.
