10/15 Prescribed burning continues north of Paulden and Chino Valley along both sides of Highway-89. Crews finished the Peavine burn and are now working on the Wagon Tire burn. Prescott National Forest crews are being assisted by crews with the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, Coronado National Forest and the BLM. Ignitions began Monday. Once completed, crews hope to move on to the Page Flat burn. Smoke will continue to be very visible.
