7/25 There are 89-large active wildfires being managed and have burned over 1.6-million acres. The National Interagency Fire Center says there are evacuation orders in effect on 17 of the fires in the northwest as well as evacuation notices in effect for several fires in California, Northern Rockies and Great Basin. Of the 89-fires burning, 85 are being actively suppressed.
