Yavapai County Attorney Dennis McGrane announced on May 8, 2024 that two of his Office’s Administrative Professionals, Lorelei Case and Ashley Rodriguez, received prestigious office awards. County Attorney McGrane stated, “The administration professionals who work at the County Attorney’s Office are the heart and soul of this office. Prosecutors often get the public recognition when a dangerous criminal goes to prison, or an elderly victim or child is rescued from a dangerous situation, but the accomplishments of this office are firmly founded in the hard work, dedication, and professionalism of our Litigation Specialists and support staff. Lorilei and Ashley represent the best of what we do, and I congratulate them on their well-deserved awards.”
Lorilei Case received the Yavapai County Attorney’s Office’s 2024 Administrative Professional of the Year Award. Ms. Case joined the office in 2021, and quickly mastered the skills needed to flourish as a Litigation Specialist for two felony prosecutors with heavy caseloads. In March of 2022, Ms. Case was assigned to the office’s busy Audio Video Unit, where she helps to review and conduct legally required redactions of audio/video files in criminal cases. Ms. Case’s thorough understanding of the laws governing criminal disclosure, public records requests, and legally required redactions has made her the “go to” person within the AV Unit. Ms. Case performs her duties exceptionally well and meets each task assigned to her with a tenacious spirit.
Ashley Rodriguez received the Yavapai County Attorney’s Office’s 2024 Administrative Professional Lifetime Achievement Award. Ms. Rodriguez joined the office 20 years ago and has been an integral part of the success of the office for two decades. Ms. Rodriguez started as a Clerk Trainee and Court Runner while she was still in high school. Since then, Ms. Rodriguez has served in nearly every unit of the office, where her legendary work ethic, thorough knowledge of office functions, and problem-solving skills have allowed her to excel in each of her assignments.
Ms. Rodriguez currently serves as the Lead Litigation Specialist in the office’s fast-paced Charging Unit, where her management skills, experience, and hard work ensure that case filing deadlines are never missed, and that justice is upheld for the community.
