YCSO On Look Out For Inmate Who Did Not Return After Work Release

On May1st, YCSO, Detention staff reported that Trevor Trammel was on work release but failed to return on time. He was supposed to return to the Camp Verde Jail at 5:30 pm but never arrived. Jail staff attempted to call Trammel but were unable to make contact. Two YCSO deputies responded to the jail to secure details about the inmate and his list of contacts and known address’ in the area. YCSO Detention staff contacted Trammel’s probation officer and the County Attorney to secure an arrest warrant, and YCSO dispatch alerted all the surrounding agencies to advise them of the probable cause for arrest for Escape in the 2nd degree.

Deputies contacted Trammel’s place of work and spoke to his boss, who confirmed the phone number deputies had been correct.  Other deputies visited all known addresses for Trammel with no success, but while contacting residences at the locations in Camp Verde, a deputy spoke with an acquaintance of the Trammel. The resident stated that Trammel left in an older white 4runner with a broken windshield. This person stated that Trevor left with his girlfriend and had talked about plans to go to Michigan.

As of Friday May 3, a nationwide arrest warrant has been issued for Trammel’s arrest.
