The City of Cottonwood has scheduled a community meeting, in partnership with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), on Wednesday, December 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the newly established Council Chambers at 1083 E. River Front Road, in Cottonwood.
This in-person community meeting is designed for ADEQ to provide an update and address concerns regarding the Minerals Research and Recovery, Inc. slag mining operation located at Birch and Cherry Streets.
This meeting will be open to the public and there is no registration required to attend. A virtual meeting will also be available.
