Prescott Valley Tween Librarian Wins Outstanding Youth Services Librarian Award

Prescott Valley Public Library Tween Librarian, Ash Ghor, received the Outstanding Youth Services Librarian award at this year’s Arizona Library Association 2023 Annual Conference. The Outstanding Youth Services Librarian Award is given to an individual who serves as a model for the important role Youth Services plays in public libraries.

Ash joined the Prescott Valley Public Library team in spring 2022 and has been working in libraries since age 19. Ash grew up in Prescott Valley, and has returned after living in Phoenix while she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Women and Gender Studies from ASU, and her master’s degree in Library Science from U of A. After receiving her MLIS, Ash’s first librarian job was at the Tempe Public Library.
