Prescott Valley Vice Mayor Lori Hunt selected as Athena Leadership Award Finalist

Prescott Valley Vice Mayor Lori Hunt has been selected as a finalist for the 2023 Quad Cities Athena Leadership Awards.  

 

Appointed to the Prescott Valley Town Council in September 2019, Ms. Hunt was elected to full term in November 2020. She has 30 years of experience in city and county government, with emphasis on economic development, community development and planning. She previously served on the Prescott Valley Parks & Recreation Commission before being appointed to Council. She is a member of the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Humboldt Education Foundation and a partner at Heights Church. 

 

The ATHENA Leadership Award is presented to an individual who is recognized for professional excellence, for providing valuable service to their community and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. 

 

Founded more than 30 years ago, ATHENA International is a women’s leadership organization that supports, develops and honors women leaders through the programs it administers. The Quad Cities Athena Awards will also present a Young Professional Leadership Award and an Organizational Leadership award.
