Daytime Lane Restrictions on State Route 69 between Mayer & Dewey-Humbolt

Drivers should plan for delays as work continues on State Route 69, the Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for ongoing lane restrictions between Mayer and Dewey-Humbolt from Friday, Sept. 15, through Friday, Sept. 22.

Drivers should allow for extra travel time while the following daytime restrictions for both north- and southbound SR 69 are in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

SR 69 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Central and Main streets (mileposts 272-279).

Expect intermittent delays on access ramps for up to 15 minutes. Please use alternate routes.

There will be a 14-foot vehicle width restriction, and the speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.

The restrictions are needed so crews can apply an oil treatment to the pavement shoulders.
