Rain and Flash Flood Threat Increasing Friday through the Weekend

Increasing moisture ahead of Tropical Storm Hilary may cause an increased risk for flash flooding from Friday through the weekend. There is still high uncertainty with regards to the exact path that Topical Storm Hilary will take and subsequently the area of greatest rainfall. There is potential that much of northern Arizona will see only minor impacts. At this point, the greatest flash flooding threat appears to be across western portions of the area – Yavapai and Coconino Counties. An active monsoon pattern will continue next week.
