Phoenix man killed in rollover crash on Table Mesa Road exit from I-17

DPS is investigating a fatal crash as a possible DUI. Officials say Troopers responded to the southbound I-17 Table Mesa Road exit Sunday afternoon where they found a vehicle had rolled; coming to wrest on its roof. The driver, who’s name was not released, is being investigated for possible DUI. The passenger, 39-year old Andrew Salaiz of Phoenix, was pronounced dead at a Phoenix area hospital. Two children in the vehicle were also transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

  3. Andrew was my best friend since elementary school. He was a good person, hard working, and a great Dad. My life isn’t the same without him. I’ll always miss him. I hope his family stays strong. He will be forever loved. I miss you homie. You were always there for me when I needed you. You are a real one.
