The manhunt continues for the person responsible for shooting a Yavapai Apache Nation Police Officer Wednesday evening. The agency and the FBI is asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest in the case, 39-year old Valentin Rodriguez. Officials say Officer Preston Brogdon was shot near the Tunlii housing area on the reservation at 7:30-pm. He’s currently in critical but stable condition at a Phoenix area hospital with several surgeries to still go through. We still do not know what lead up to the shooting. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering a $10,000-cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
