Jury convicts former Sedona Chiropractor of sexual conduct with minor and drug offenses

A Yavapai County Jury this week convicted a former Sedona chiropractor, 64-year old Douglas Gilbert, of sexual conduct with a minor and involving a minor in a drug offense. In 2016, Gilbert was specializing in “Emotional Baggage Transformation”. That same year, a former patient asked Gilbert to help his troubled daughter. Gilbert and his wife, 45-year old Kimberly Korba, took the girl camping in Oak Creek Canyon and encouraged the girl to ingest illicit mushrooms and alcohol and engage in sex with them. Korba already pleaded guilty to child abuse with sexual motivation and is serving a term of probation. Gilbert faces 12.5-years in prison when sentenced and will have to register as a sex offender upon his release.
