The Camp Verde Town Council approved an agreement to purchase the Camp Verde Water Company. Town Manager Russ Martin says the Company and Town are now going through the necessary steps to complete the purchase. This involves receiving loan approval from the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority through the State. Approval of the loan is expected by the end of the month. They’ll also apply to the Arizona Corporation Commission for approval of the sale. The process may take a couple of months, but is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
