Prescott Police recently recognized Nate Hernandez of Prescott Valley for his role in finding a missing person. On August 17-th, a Prescott Valley resident was reported missing from his home by his wife. She informed police that her husband had dementia, suffered from COPD and had left their home in their vehicle without his phone. Hernandez spotted the man on Williamson Valley Road and followed him until police pulled the man over. Upon contact, the driver was disoriented and in need of immediate medical attention. Officials say if it had not been for Hernandez’ willingness and involvement, the story of the missing person’s journey could have likely ended in tragedy.
