The Grand Canyon National Park Service issued a missing person’s report for 66-year old Clifton Beck of Maryland. Beck obtained a backcountry permit to spend 2-nights on the Walhalla Plateau starting on Friday, September 10-th, from the Komo Point Trailhead near Cape Royal Road on the North Rim. He’s believed to be carrying a backpack, wearing hiking boots and traveling alone. Beck is a white male, balding, 5-10, 160-pounds with a gray beard. A total of 9-search teams are looking for Beck.
