This morning, Verde Valley Fire responded to a house fire in the Centerville subdivision in Clarkdale. Upon arrival, crews found all occupants out of the house and active fire on the south side porch that had extended inside. Crews made an exterior attack to reset the fire prior to making entry. Once inside, personnel were able to gain control and keep the fire from spreading further. The home was heavily damaged and has been deemed inhabitable at this time. No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
