Sedona Police and nonprofit team up to save lives from heart disease

The nonprofit Griffith Blue Heart donated additional automated external defibrillators or “AEDs” to Sedona Police to further their resuscitation program thanks to a grant from the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona. The AEDs will outfit more patrol officers to help save lives from the community’s leading cause of death: heart disease. Police also received a certificate for advanced law enforcement resuscitation training, thanks to a donation by Sedona Fire to further Griffith Blue Heart’s training programs. Sedona police has already saved multiple lives with the 10 AEDs they currently have through Griffith Blue Heart.
